Programmes: Co-ordinated professional training workshops and free trial sessions for the public

Description: High-level circus skills were presented by a selection of Australia’s most exciting aerial artists, curated by Strut n Fret, one of Australia’s innovative production houses of shows during this two-day event. After an up close and intimate view of their extraordinary skills, the audience, mostly families, engaged in a one-hour session arranged by Hong Kong Circus where they experienced some real acrobatic training tryouts.

 

The day before the group performed for the public, Hong Kong Circus gathered 30 local dancers and performers to join two half-day workshops where they learnt and interacted with four Australian aerialists. Participants found the workshops rewarding and inspiring because not only can they further advance their skills with internationally renowned artists but they can also try for the very first time some innovative props transported all the way from Australia
